Our Client is a rapidly expanding IT Supplier delivering IT Solutions and Managed Services across the UK. This company offers exceptional career opportunities. They are currently recruiting for IT Business Development Managers (new business and key account development) to sell their full range of market leading hardware and software solutions in the South-East, including Central London.
The Role
The purpose and remit of the Business Development Manager's role includes:-
* Sell Market Leading Hardware and Software Solutions from World Leading Vendors.
* Sell Servers, Workstations, Software and associated services.
* Generate new business in the South-East
* Develop and manage key accounts in the South-East.
* Build strong business relationships at Director Level.
* Ensure our client is added to the tender list for major contracts.
* Build a sales pipeline of business opportunities to ensure sales target are exceeded.
* Develop and maintain strong product knowledge.
The Candidate
The Business Development Managers experience and qualifications will include:-
* A Minimum of 3 years experience with a UK based IT reseller/solutions provider.
* Commercially astute with ability to identify potential business opportunities.
* Experience selling servers, workstations, and software solutions.
* Ambitious Sales Account Manager with the drive and persistence to win.
* Excellent interpersonal skills, able to communicate at Director Level.
* Computer literate with outstanding business acumen.
* Organised, able to prioritise and deliver results.
The Reward
The package includes a basic salary of £50k per annum with uncapped On Target Earnings. The successful candidate can realistically expect to earn £150k per annum. Some of the other benefits include 25 days holiday, pension, and medical Insurance.
