Details The Company
Our client is an international Payments Technology company currently recruiting for a Head of Service Transition & Planning who resides in the Berkshire and surrounding counties area to work out their Berkshire office on a 12 month contract.

The Role
The purpose and remit of the Head of Service Transition & Planning role:-
* Responsible for leading and managing the delivery of all Business Operations project deliverables
* Ensure the seamless transition of new or changed services into operate
* Act as an escalation point for complex risks and issues
* Create, evolve and drive the Service Transition and Planning capability forward by developing and empowering talent
* Set the strategy and direction for the team in transitioning a service from project (change) to the business as usual (run)
* Play a key role in driving alignment across the business
* Accountable for input into the Portfolio Supply Meeting (PSM) on behalf of Business Operations to confirm the department's ability to support business demand and investment
* Line management responsibility for local employees, managing a team of up to 5 to 8

The Candidate
The Head of Service Transition & Planning experience and qualifications:-
* Experienced in this type of role or similar
* Senior stakeholder management and influencing skills
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
* Strong organisational and leadership skills are essential
* PRINCE2 and ITIL (Transition desirable) are highly desirable
